Goichi Suda & company deviates from their usual punk rock style of game development to bring a really laxed and casual experience. Catch bugs and feed them to frogs that youll then add to a quaint collection. Its a simple feel-good title that everyone should grab. If its not your bag, who cares. Its only a dollar and its for charity.
I was hoping for something relaxed and fun, but ended up getting something hectic and repetitive and boring. The narrator is sarcastic (looks like you failed!) and downright lies (looks like the frog is full - no it isnt). This isnt really a game more than a click simulator - you cant "win" as theres no other objective than gather all the achievements, and you cant lose either (though the narrator tells you once in awhile in glee how many frogs you failed to catch)... I got excited about the whole frog chain (how many frogs in a row you catch) - but again there is no reward for long chains, nor penalties for breaking them. Pointless and boring.... Only reason it gets 2 stars is that it is rather pretty to look at. And I like frogs. Dont waste your money.
Fun and easy to use. Worth the low price. I recommend.
