Disappointing

Not engaging - disappointed!

Education and timed?

My daughters would appreciate this educational game more if it didnt have to be timed. Why are educational games timed so you can become unworthy of learning? Glad to support Japan but this kills it for me and my daughters. They dont want to play it. Other than that, It looks like it might be really cool.

Not relaxing

My granddaughter does not want to play this game. "It seems like you failed" is not a good message for children and being timed is not the way to enjoy a nature setting! .

Discourages instead of encourages children

The game portion if harder than it looks and if you arent successful, it tells your child they "failed". If you are looking for an encouraging game for children, look elsewhere. I like that it supports Japanese Red Cross but not the game app itself

This isnt a game. Its an idea for a game.

The voice quickly becomes annoying. Gameplay is uninteresting and repetitive. I expected a zen-teresting game, and was sorely disappointed. Im being nice. My kids hated it.

Gorgeous

Really beautiful and unique. Not quite a game but very interesting. Please remove the time constraints or add a zen mode? 

Not that great

This is an interesting game premise, and my daughter liked it, but it is too repetitive and grows a bit boring. The number of different frogs could stand to be much higher than what is in the game and the voice gets pretty annoying after a while. "congratulations, you caught a lot of frogs". Thanks. Once you reach reach 100% after a few days of playing, nothing happens. The picture of the frog completes and there is nothing left to do, since there are no more places to find, no more frogs species to find, no scenery changes, no further insects to catch. Having time limits in a nature game is counter-intuitive and the repetitive announcements ruin the mood after a while. Having a child hear " it seems as though you failed" every time they dont catch a frog isnt ideal. The game is entertaining for a while, but it is not as awesome as some of the reviews would have you think.

Excellent !!!

Excellent app !!! I really enjoy this app. I play it with my 8 year old daughter a lot and enjoy the quality time. Looking forward to a few updates for more Frogs and Critters. Keep up the good work, its appreciated!

Simple, fantastic, fun!

Very addictive! Relaxing and educational when you want it to be, silly and fast when you want that. Dual language also helps with learning Japanese (Maaya Sakamoto is the Japanese voice). And only a buck! Perfect. Ive played it plenty and had zero problems.

Shame, Shame

You make me sick. You lable this a child game yet I can barely play this broken app. Yeah its pretty, but that matters not when the controls are as broken as they are. Feeding the frogs only works half the time, and the fact that I encountered the same freaking frog 16 times in a row is ridiculous. Not to mention theres like 7 frogs. Oh yeah, and your stupid time limits add insult to injury. Also, once you beat the game all this app does is take up space and memory. You do not deserve one star you liars. And your planted 5 star comments make me laugh.

Ok, gets boring

This game is ok and kind of fun for a while, but is extremely repetitive and the voice is sooo annoying. Some (all?) of the 5 star comments are OBVIOUSLY from the developers- sad.

Not great, but for a good cause

The game is pretty shallow, the controls are a little wonky, and its unlikely to keep your attention for more than a couple minutes at a time. That said, there is some simplistic entertainment to be had here, and more importantly it supports a good developer and a great cause. At just a dollar with 100% of proceeds going to charity, its hard not to recommend.

Annoying

I couldnt take more than a couple minutes of the affected, self-satisfied voice intoning "It seems like you failed". Grammatically incorrect, not too mention annoying and i wasnt interested in continuing to explore the app. I was checking it out for my kids, but will be deleting it instead.

Frog breakdown

Dont count on having this game for long, It works for awhile, but then thing get stuck. The only thing you can do is stare at the picture, now thats boring!

Good not great

Good for hand eye coordination and learning a little about frogs. Would be nice if the narrator had something other than " you failed" to say to my three year old. Also a version that is not timed or an easy level of play would be nice.

Cool, Fun & Unique Pick-up-and-play

I was familiar with Grasshopper from Contact (ds) so I figured I would try out this 99 cent app. Its an awesome way to kill time, quirky and put together well. Would love to see more apps from Grasshopper soon!

Trap of a game

Its was nice for a free app till I got a bill saying different so when I went to write a problem to the i store it kicks me off dont waste your time or money on this game

"it looks like you failed"

is one of the common phrases in frog minutes and it is NOT educational, in frogs bios it does not say their diet, habitat, and many other things game itself is ok but it should not be in the l category. it was a waste of my money

Doesnt work

Touch to start and we cant!!! Please fix. My son played at Apple store and just had to get it. Very disappointed son right now
